Yet another angsty song lol.


At the time of making this, it's the first song I recorded electric guitars for for over a year. The guitars are very sloppy but the tone is there.

Also, I'm surprised at the versatility of the Mai voicebank. ROSE is good for the most heavy songs, but Mai feels easy to tune for any song.

The chorus is very catchy. I'm happy with my lyric writing too, which is rare. I think it has the right amount of angst I was aiming for.

You can interpret the ending line as "A Necessary Distance" or "Unnecessary Distance." I thought that was kind of clever.

I think for a more nuanced understanding of the song, it's important to read the notes for SOS.
Necessary Distance is about forcing distance for the necessity of both parties.
As a result, days are empty and repetitive, but at least nobody is hurt.

I don't think I have plans to make anything beyond a lyric video.
